Fiig in Zapier

Update widgets from thousands of other apps without code, with Fiig's own Zapier integration.

With Zapier another app updates your widgets: the stock from your web shop, a fundraiser's total from a spreadsheet or a new end date from your planning. A change is live right away, also in emails already sent.

What the integration does

Update Stock Counter: sets a stock counter to a new number. At 0 it shows its sold-out text.

Update Progress Bar: sets a progress bar to the new total (not the difference), and optionally to a new goal.

Move Countdown: gives a countdown a new end date and time, optionally in another time zone.

Update Widget: changes any widget's name, alt text or settings, as JSON as in the API documentation. For advanced use.

Find Widget: finds a widget by name, for example when a product in your web shop has the same name as the widget.

Connect

  1. In Fiig, create an API key under Account → API, with a name like "Zapier". You only see the key once.
  2. Open the invitation to Fiig in Zapier ↗, log in to Zapier and accept it. Fiig is then among your apps.
  3. In Zapier, create a Zap and pick a trigger in another app, for example a new or updated row in Google Sheets.
  4. As the action, pick the Fiig app and what should happen, for example Update Stock Counter.
  5. Connect your account: paste your API key. Zapier shows the connection as Fiig with the number of widgets in your workspace.
  6. Choose your widget in the list and fill in the new value, or pick a field from your trigger.
  7. Test the step: your widget in Fiig shows the new value right away. Then turn your Zap on.

The integration is new and can't be found through Zapier's search yet: that's why you use the invitation. If you run into anything, let us know.

Good to know

An API key belongs to one workspace. Zapier only sees the widgets in that workspace. If you revoke the key, the integration stops.

Using Make or another platform? That works through the API.
